2008 LaStella Maestoso Release

Salve,

It seems fitting that as we start to harvest the fruit that will become the 2011 Maestoso that we release the 2008 edition. Maestoso is sourced from our estate vineyard on the slopes just immediately south of the winery on the Osoyoos Lake Bench. If you stop by the vineyard take a wander through one of the lowest yielding vineyards (around 1 ton an acre) in North America. Watch your step though, the soil is dry and the slope is quite steep.

Now that Thanksgiving is in the rear-view mirror we enter fall in earnest; it’s time to start bringing out the big reds and get serious about some food and wine!
